Labdoor is a renowned international independent company that tests supplements. They determine whether the products are living up to their claims and have everything they mention and if they contain any harmful chemicals or ingredients. After the tests, they grade and rank the tested products and publish the information on their website which is open for all to read. This instills a feeling of confidence in consumers while buying a specific product.
Labdoor conducts analytical chemical and microbiological testing on the samples of the products to make sure that each product meets their criteria of quality standards. The product should meet all quality standards for a given certificate to be certified by Labdoor.
As of now, Labdoor offers 3 certifications- Purity, Accuracy, and Sports. For a given certificate program, any product needs to meet all qualification standards to be awarded that specific Labdoor certificate.
The purity test under Labdoor states that a product is tested at or below the limit of certification for heavy metals and microbiological adulterants.
To offer the accuracy certificate, a product is tested at or above the limit of certification for the active ingredients that fall under the range of analytical variance.
The sports certification of Labdoor states that the product is tested at or below the limit of certification for all the substances that are banned as per the WADA Banned Substance list.
Once the tests are completed and the results are out, Labdoor prepares a report for the product and sends the test results to the applicant in private. If the product fails the test and the company/brand has an issue with it, they have 5 days to file a challenge the results produced by Labdoor. If the applicant submits proof that none of the units from the failed lot were distributed, Labdoor won’t list that product on their website.
For the products who pass the test, Labdoor lists them on their website with the certificate and report for everyone’s access.
